4th April 2008, 02:07 PM #1 May conference. Session idea
I'm now in the process of getting the May conf organised and wondered if you would like a session at the end of the day where we could have an EduGeek Q&A
session with you putting any questions and suggestions live to the admins who will all be in attendance. This would be at the end of the day and would, I feel be a nice personal way of winding down the conf before the evenings jollities.
Do you think this would be a good idea or would you prefer something else?

4th April 2008, 04:33 PM #4 i'd provisionally say yes (as my vote shows) - however I think a more informal chat might be a better thing.
rather than have you guys up against the wall, how about you're all available when we're having coffee (read as: beer) at some point.
should lead to a more relaxed session

The last option reminds me of the Harvester adverts.
Cue admins walking around with printed agendas and asking 'have you been to a EduGeek Conference before?'

4th April 2008, 06:51 PM #6 I did wonder how I was going to justify going to the pub for a chat afterwards if we had the Q&A at the conference... I then realised that I never needed to justify going to the pub before so why the hell not?

There could be a brief EMBC discussion and people could use those to rate the service?

5th May 2008, 10:01 PM #12 No EMBC Discussion please otherwise we may still be there the week after when DB want's his office back and some of us have to be in work
Lets just say most LEA Internet is crap and they should give us the money in the first place and let us DIY it.

Fair enough. It seemed like a good idea.
I don't think I am going to be able to make it anyway.

Once people get started though they won't be able to stop. You might be right. Forget my idea!
