It would take me between 6 and a half and 7 and a half hours to get there. I would have to stay both the night before and the night of the event... Not to mention the train costing me £80.

But then again... It takes me an hour and a half to get to our nearest train station by bus. Somewhere like Bristol would be a good location for me...

We need one in the South, one in South West and one in the North East to complete the lot.

Then we need to do Wales, Scotland and NI.

That's the next 6 lined up then ...

I'd really like to get to the Preston one but I don't think I'm going to make it.

I'm going to be working back in education from 2nd June through to 31st August 2009 so I'm sure there's plenty of good in me going to a conference (aside from meeting all you guys etc) but I think I'll be best off waiting until October for the Midlands one.

I think Bristol for a future one sounds great, as no doubt will all my fellow Dorset/Wilts/Hants/Devon/Cornwall techs!!
