Most of us are lucky to get one day off to attend something like this, let alone several to allow travelling half way across the country and overnight stays. Also, who is going to pay? Not a chance in hell my schools would!

It's less about that and more about the socialising/networking aspects. As it is a conference, you should be able to count the day as CPD - I usually take a day either side as leave too for traveling and to allow some blood back into my alcohol-stream before driving!

Fantastic, count me in. I have some friends who live in Leyland so I will kip at there’s. I will also hopefully be driving by then. Roughly what time is kick off?
