Have checked the download release and all is ok in there :D
False alarm, back on your heads ;)
Excellent work, thanks Ozan - and of course thanks for your support today. Resource manager is excellent however one thing I'd like to see/add to a "feature request" would the ability to make block bookings.
Ah sorry - I meant as in the same period each week cycle. Better still if only certain users can do it (i.e. helpdesk editing technicians) but that could also be acheived using the advanced booking time bit. It probably wouldn't take much to alter the way things are done but would make my NM's life a lot easier! ;)
Hi Is this a free helpdesk or a paid for service? If its free how do you get a login? If not free how much is it?
v2.4 is mainly going to be a security release which is going to do away with the current "User Roles" system in favour of a more granular bespoke approach. This will allow NM's the ability to define thier own roles and apply what permissons (Read, Add, Update, Delete, Reporting, Etc...) they see fit for that role and then apply that to a user. This will allow the software to further follow inline with current practices and policies used by individual sites.
This will fit in perfectly with what you are asking for the resource manager and permissions.
like us on our facebook page we are giving away one free license per month until Jan 2013
When you make a booking hit the timetabled check box.
Be carefull though as this will repeat the booking for the entire academic year. At the moment there is no way to do a repeat booking for a fixed timeframe, this has been added as a feature request on our online tracker for v2.4
Ah, gotcha, cheers! :)
Couple of quick things, how to delete bookings in Resource Maanger and something I've raised on the support system but also with resource manager the alternative lines the links refer in the wrong order to the periods they are in...
If you mean how do you delete timetabled bookings at the moment you can't.
That and some other issues that have been found are being looked at.
is the resource booking links also being looked at
