ok something else, had problem logging on as the administrator so I deleted the database and re started, went into the setup and when i configure the data base i get this error "Failure to create database structure, the error was: Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'twitterCK', table 'OPSD.dbo.tblsettings'; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails. The statement has been terminated."
I click it again and it says everything is fine, create the user etc and then i go to logon and it still wont let me logon
OK Confused now, did you get any errors the first time you ran the installer as you said you did not? The fact you were not able to login would lead me to believe the installer did not run correctly the first time.
Did you create the SQL database with the required permissions as per the installation KB article?
yeah double checked the setting up of the sql database and have deleted and re setup. I think it may of brought it up but it was then followed by the 3 green boxes saying all the dayabase stuff had setup correctly..
Are you onsite or doing this remotely? can we get a remote connection to see whats is happening?
Im onsite... I can setup a remote connection but will have to be through our external suppiler vpn as our LA only allow that
Please check the support request I just raised for you.
Just completed a fresh install which went well - one thing we've had problems with is adding periods in the resource manager. We can add rooms, resources, set up weeks, etc without problem but when we select the "Periods" tab it's empty, no options to add or anything. Any ideas?
EDIT: Looks like the column period_time_header in tblrb_periods wasn't created during the install. Adding it solves the problem.
