There will be 3 versions:
Lite - This is free and consists of just the helpdesk for 1 tech and unlimited staff which also includes the calendar.
Pro - Is the same as light but also has email polling, SLA's, extensive reporting and room booking.
Enterprise - This is as the the pro version but also has full asset management.

17th February 2010, 06:48 PM #167 Hi Ozan,
I'm itching to have a go at it too (I was wondering what had happened to my trial request but I'm guessing the office move explains it!)
I'm currently using Kayako SupportSuite and looking at your product as a viable alternative. The booking feature is a huge bonus as we're currently using an old and creaking web-based portal and access back end!
Will it just be the hosted version that is available for trial, or would I be able to trial the locally hosted version?

Now that we're looking at putting a helpdesk in place, which do we choose from:
OP SmartDesk
eTicket - eTicket Help Desk Software PHP
SmarterTrack - Leading Customer Service, Live Chat, and Help Desk Software
All seem to have similar functions, SmarterTrack being big on the reports and livechat but we dont need livechat.

17th February 2010, 06:54 PM #169 Will the pro version support multiple technicians? Also, is there any pricing available yet?

At the moment you will only be able to trial as a hosted version however as soon as we have released v2.0 then we will be working on a local trial that you will be able to download and install yourself.

Yes the pro and enterprise version will have unlimited users and staff in the same way that the current version of the helpdesk does. Only the lite version will be limited.

Or are you...
First post by a new user and they advertise two competitors, one of which doesn't look great but the other quite attractive? (Wondering if they represent the attractive company?)

17th February 2010, 07:12 PM #177 I like the sound of that pricing. When is a demo going live so I can have a look. Really interested in the asset management. Can you link assets to users and follow the history of the assets regarding any support request made againest it and also ownership of asset.

17th February 2010, 07:23 PM #178 Really like the idea of being able to link an asset with a user.
Would definitely help stop our laptops 'wandering' off.

When an incident is logged there is an oportunity to add an asset tag nuimber which will link the incident to the asset, within the incident itself you can view all information regarding the asset as well as it's problem history.
Incidents can be logged and assets can be linked at a later stage if needed also.
We are hoping to get our online demos updated with the new version within the next week.
