Question Can you run a script in a PDF?

Quick question. I want to be able to have a script run in a pdf that opens up an application. I could have it as a link, but would prefer it to be an automated script that runs when the pdf opens (don't ask the background!).

    Simply, is this possible?

Yes, but not by default (for obvious reasons). See sections 4 or 5 in this PDF for details.
