I am putting together a script to send an email from the desktop. I have a link which opens a PHP web page on a web server. The user just types in a message and clicks "Submit".
Is there a way to find out the user that is logged in and place the name in my web page?
TIA

not sure if theres a better way, or if you can put the current user into the desktop, you might have to make a script to make the shortcut that make it go to:
form.php?user=<<USER>>
you could even add "&pc=<<pc>>"
to make it put the PC in aswell.
the two values would then be passed as $_GET values
