    Question Help please - EXE's open twice

    Hi, scripting is not my thing so this is probably an easy one but I cant find the answer.

    I'm using a web page to open word, excel, calc etc etc but when I use the following script, some programs open twice and some don't....?

    This is on the web page:

    <FORM NAME="calc1">
    <span style="font-size: 11pt"><font face="Arial">
    <INPUT TYPE="button" NAME="calc1" style="width:40; height:24" value="Click"></font></span></font><font size="2"></INPUT>
    <script FOR="calc1" EVENT="onClick" LANGUAGE="VBScript" src="vbs/calc.vbs"></script>
    Calculator</font>

    This is the calc.vbs script:

    Set objApp = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
    objApp.run "calc.exe"

    Any ideas why when I click once it opens twice?
    Thank you.
    Kate

    It must be picking up the mouse click as 2 events. eg mouse down, mouse up.

    By the looks of it, you've got two items with the same name

    I know it shouldn't make a difference, but obviously it does - rename the form control and all will be happy
