Rep Power: 0 | We have stopped backing up onto tapes and purchased 3 removable hard drives. Label "Backup Dk 1" "Backup DK 2" & "Backup Dk 3" Currently having to manual change the drive letter of the hard drive to drive z:\ I was hoping there is a script that will change the drive letter from D:\ to Z:\ that will run before backup starts. Or a script that will assign a certain drive letter because of the drives name. |

![]() | Just assign the drives the same letter in disk management. Once you put plug is back in it will use the same letter again. |
