    VB Script / HTA - Enumerate Installed Software

    Found this : Script to list installed software and output to CSV | Online IT Support

    Which by the looks of it will output installed software to a text file, I keep getting an error on the first line in relation to the constant HKLM, error message screen grab attached

    Ideally I want to create a HTA ( HTML Application ) and output the installed applications onto the HTA form

    I can do the HTA myself and I know how to output the installed applications to the HTA Form, Just need help getting the above script or a similar one working correctly

    Thanks

    Has to be VBScript as GPO has been setup to block and not allow us to use PowerShell etc
    @Arthur , @Steve21 or anyone else ??

    Try replacing the quotation marks - the ones on the page don't look quite right

    Found this link : How to create Registry key if it does not exists? | Learn2Automate

    Basically replaced the constants with the ones from the above article so :

    Code:
    Const HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT = &H80000000
    Const HKEY_CURRENT_USER = &H80000001
    Const HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE = &H80000002
    Const HKEY_USERS = &H80000003
    Const HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG = &H80000005
    Then it errored out on all the lines with the quotation marks and used the search and replace function ( well replace function ) to replace all the quote marks as you suggested and replace HKLM with HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE now seems to be working

    Now just to do my bit to translate this into a hta instead of outputting to a csv file

    Thanks
