    Change bulk folder permissions, carefully!

I've got 215 folders, all these folders have "Domain admins, Specific user, account operators" with full permission to them...

The folder above has just "Domain admins, IT Teachers security group"

I need to force the 215 folders to take the IT Teachers group and inherit that permission without resetting or changing ANYTHING else, i know this is easily done as i've done it before but can't for the life of me remember how, any help?

No doubt setacl can probably do this but i don't know the commands to achieve this

Open a command prompt and go to the directory where the folders are located (map a drive if you need to) and run the following command:

    Code:
    for /D %d IN (*) DO icacls "%d" /inheritance:e
Will apply to all folders in the current path, change * if you want to narrow it down.

    Edit: Assumes windows 7/2008
