    School Policies

    Good Morning Everyone,

I do appologise if this is in the wrong area but when I take my new position up I want to ensure that the school has an IT policy
for everything they should incase ofsted ever come asking.

The school initially had a bodged up UAP which I have re-written, I have also created a 'disaster recovery plan' and a BYOD policy as well as a '3 year ICT plan',
Is there anything else I should be looking at, I dont like to say 'overkill' I prefer 'futureproof' .

    Regards
    Stan.

Service Level Agreement? CCTV may fall under your purview (it does mine). Data Protection Policy is also a must, there's some excellent examples round these parts somewhere (probably the wiki).

    Thankls for the reply,

Don't need a CCTV policy at the moment as the school doesn't have it as for data protection, not sure if I will do that one or not ???
will speak to the head and ask about that....

Have a look in the policies thread and you may well find examples of what you want as well as the wiki

CCTV is a spin off from Data Protection in most cases. You have to consider CCTV when writing your DP and FoI policies.
