We had this happen to us a couple of years ago and I paid a personal visit to get it back - on a Sunday morning - at 8am......
...the look on the guy's face was priceless.

i dunno i quite like the idea of a bailiff banging their door down avec Policeman, whilst I'm tucked up in bed![]()

If you were given a company car you wouldn't dream in stealing it after you have left the job so why do they steal the laptops? I thought that teachers became teachers because they cared about the education of the kids, and that they want to help educate the kids. They will be obstructing this if they steal laptops. They will be obstructing children’s education because the new teacher might not have a laptop or one that isn’t good enough for the job. If the school buys the new teacher a new laptop that money could have been spent somewhere else.

Why don't you try to contact her new school headteacher and see what they can do
