1st one goes to dell, my coulege rang them up about a laptop that wouldnt turn on, engineer out next day and fixed it.
There was another laptop that i was dealing with that kept blue screening,i put it down to faulty ram and did a mem test witch showed alot of errors.
rang dell up he talked me though a process of doing the dell diagnostics thing (holding down the fn key while powering up) witch confimed that it was ram, he then talked me though taking the ram out underneath and trying it again, then taking the key board out and removing the memort under there and replaceing the 1st stick, witch it turned out to be, he then arranged for a currior to drop off the new ram and pick up the old the next day.
i was very impressed with the quality of support
the second praise is to ebuyer, i bought a digital camera last night at about 7pm and it had arried at my house by 11 oclock this morning! i now cant wait for this day to finnish so i can go home and play with my new toy :)
