All suggestions gratefully received, we bought 2 lots of non branded tower computers, from a company that are mentioned on here quite a bit, last year. Now hoping to complete the rolling program of replacing the remaining suite computers, have discovered that they no longer do non branded but are a HP partner company.
I've been really pleased with the computers we have bought from them so far and wanted to finish off the suite with matching tower cases or as close as possible. Are there any other recommended suppliers that I can go to?

7th February 2012, 12:29 PM #2 By non-branded, do you mean non-HP, Dell etc. or specifically no branding at all, you want completely plain cases? As there's a couple of easy recommendations for the former, for the latter... maybe @CPLTD can get you hooked up?

The company built their own, using branded components, in an Aopen box.

If you just want a box built using standard components (e.g. Intel CPU, Asus mobo etc.) then Novatech or Stone are probably your best bets, but they will have the company name on the front of the case. For something using a non-branded case, either of those might on request, or I think @CPLTD did a quote for me a couple of years back from a company using non-branded cases, as did BT Business iirc

I've just noticed this myself. Nice new website but don't do their own gear anymore.

7th February 2012, 12:50 PM #7 Misco do Zoostorms at a really competitive price. No OS and the build seems pretty good.
-
7th February 2012, 12:54 PM #8 Novatech might be worth a try if you want the exact same build. Stone are good, but I don't think they use Aopen cases.
How many machine do you need, if it's just a few it might be less hastle to build them yourself.

Er no longer!
I'm not bothered whether the case has a logo on, I just want something to match the other half of the suite, at the time we went for a company's own build because they were cheaper and we thought we could replace the entire suite over 12 months in three batches, even if the original case wasn't available there would be a similar one.

Second that top job - currently got a stone engineer here now!

7th February 2012, 01:27 PM #14 Stone are good quality, as are Novatech. Either should come in at a great price on a spec you specify - down to requesting Asus branded mobos over Intel and specifically Logitech peripherals, if you want.

I bought a suite of machines from them too in Aopen cases as they matched all the other ICT suites (The previous person in my job bought from them) and so had them in for the sales speech etc & shown a demo unit with Aopen case & was told the cases would be standard for ages (to be fair they are robust cases and nice & small) and then came to do the next suite told they'd replaced them with some other case. Was slightly annoyed too!
Moved from them & been getting good prices for Stone equipment and thoroughly impressed with Quality & service so was happy to move away in the end.
