Default Laptop Trolley

Anyone got any recommendation of supplier for two laptop trolleys of 24 systems each I could look at? Need to close this one within the next week, and I have already been to the usual suspects (Dell, Mesh and CSE). Any others I haven't thought of but that offer good deals on these kinds of things?

Have you had a look at these? Lapsafe I have not used them myself but i think we will be looking at them in the summer spending spree.

I was very impressed with their stand at BETT I am not sure but i think Grumbledook would be a good person to talk to about them.

LapSafe are the best IMHO... excellent build quality compared to others that I have seen. I have a 30-unit trolley but the trolleys are modular (units of 5 IIRC - Grumbledook is the man to ask).

I have also seen a Sahara trolley but in comparison to the LapSafe it looked like it was made of tin foil and the power distribution looked like two power strips that you would buy at your local DIY store!

Most of your usual suppliers can help you out with prices. Try EuroLaser (Mandy on 01753 680400) or Oliis (Bobby on 0845 456 8556). Mention EduGeek when you contact these guys - they have been good to us in the past

I agree lapsafe are the best but we've not been able to afford any yet.

I think the build of the bretford ones is terrible.

The last one we bought was a loxit one which is great built like a tank. Nice cable management in it as well that is easy to get to and comes as standard unlike our original bretford where you just stuffed the chargers down the back of the trolley allthough they have changed that now I think.

Sadly although Lapsafe are the best they aren't the most affordable so it depends on your budget. As for us the bretford trollies have been fine for our use though being the sort of school we are the kids are well behaved anyway so it isn't as mucha concern for us.
