Making Up DVDs for Drama etc

We just sent our Drama department to the local photography shop to make up DVDs of thier exam pieces.

They're not quite happy with it as the shop charged £80. The Faculty Head has asked me if I would do it privately and wants a price.

    Any suggestions?

    £70?

Surely if it is part of their coursework they need to source it or the Drama dept needs to sort something?!

Apply usual formula time + skill involved. Come up with an hourly rate then estimate how long and there you go!

My wife has pointed out some legal ramifications. Don't know how i'd be paid. They want me to do the first one next Tuesday. Don't want to let them down, but wondering if it's really worthwhile.

get them a Mac Mini and tell them to do it ... or get them to get an LSA to do it.

I am also concerned about sending videos of children outside of the school to be editted ... no knowing where they may end up.
