    hmmmm, and with my new job an Aldi is actually local to me Not that I really need Night Vision, but the 500GB USB HDD could be handy, perhaps need some for work, good reason to go out to Aldi

    Anyone else been watching "big cat live" the other week? Made me want a NV device! I'm going across to Kenya again this feb... might see if I can manage to get hold of one of these, though mere mortals (ie. not TV crew) aren't allowed in KWS parks after 6pm. Trying to book into Lewa (of marathon and occasional TV show fame) but it is a bit on the pricy side.

    I'll lend you mine if you'd like
    They are very, very good BTW. They are passive gen 1 devices with the option of using the IR torch to increase clear visibility up to 100 yards. At £89 they were a steal as they are usually near £300 for a device like this.
    Oh, and they are actually made by a US company called Yukon. Look them up. They specialise is night vision and sporting scopes.

    Aye i got one too, i have one jipe with them and thats when using the focus at over 150meter its sensertive to .01nm so slightest tap and you can loose all your setting, IR torch is really good was shocked how well it worked
