Laptop Screens??

Anyone know of good suppliers of laptop screens?

We've several laptops with broken screens where staff have dropped them, or put stuff on top of them. There's nothing wrong with the laptops themselves apart from the screens, so we would like to fix them if we can.

I would say the best places is the vendors themselves but the price they have been known to charge for laptop screens you better of buying new laptops well my laptop is a Acer travelmate so it is covered by a five year warranty so I get the screen replaced

We have had the same thing the original suppliers quote was in the £300's we found a company called main computers who replaced them for £200 + VAT inc collection / delivery.

They have done 4 for us and have been very fast

Does that warrenty count even when it's damaged by the users?

We have sent kit off to them and it's come back repaired before our budget office had time to send the order

eBay - broken laptops are often sold for spare parts.

@maniac yes providing you have not made a attempt to repair it yourself but it a most cases they dont check
