I am building up a test bed for my XBMC and wanted to know if others are doing it for the RasPi, and what apps they are having

    So far I have

    google mail
    facebook
    webbrowser
    youtube

anybody got anything decent I could add?

tagging along with this, can someone tell me if they hook up an external DVD drive to the RasPi, does it get recognised...if so, I will be a happy man...TV+RasPi+External DVD drive+xbox 360 (for games only) = bedroom media heaven

On my AppleTV I have what you listed plus, Navi-x and Super TV, both 3rd party addons for XBMC

@JJonas no other functionality, just the ability to connect it to my HDTV and free up my laptop.

Same here, though I am adding a bluray drive to mine and mounting it to my tv (I've modded a VESA mount to do the job)
