Was just wondering if there is any way of rectifying a warped board? Or would we have to install a complete new replacement.
The board in question is used in our Prep School and mainly used for Handwriting exercises, which is now proving difficult as just slightly to the left from the middle of the board is warped.
Would like some general advice on this if possible and if there could be anything we could do in house to solve.
Hi there - apologies for the delay.
I think the only thing you can do is call Support with the board serial number and ask for advice.
If it is still under warranty, they may be able to sort for you, and if not, they would be able to advise if there is anything else that can be done.
Our warped board had to be replaced. Fortunately it was under warranty.
Is there any damage behind the board at all? Anything that is unusual ie water damage, spill etc would mean a warranty call may be pointless. Depending on age, I'd either replace with one less used or get a replacement in after trying the warranty route.
A picture may help those in the know.
This was my initial thought that it may have been against a damp wall, but it's on a wall that backs onto the stair-well, no signs of damp or heat damage. Its quite old i believe approx 5 years old. I think an outright replacement will be needed, just wanted to know if there were anything else we could do in house to solve.
