Hi I have a school that uses all Macs on open directory, all the teachers use active inspire fine, apart from one!
When I login to this user and try and open active inspire it instantly crashes and the program has to be false quite!
When I login as another user it works fine, there must be a corrupted config file on the users account but I can't find it !
Has anyone else had this problem on a mac?

First up you could try deleting the ActivInspire Settings that are associated with that user..
~/.config/Promethean/
Just delete the whole contents of this folder and then do a full machine shutdown before trying to relaunch ActivInspire.
Sorry but where is the config folder on a mac ?
This is a hidden folder - Any file or folder with a dot/period infront of it is hidden.
Your IT Mangager should be able to configure the Mac to display hidden files and folders so that the folder in question can be deleted or if you are confident to have a go yourself, take a look at this
OK thanks will try that tomorrow and see if it works
OK I have tried that and it tries to start up it asks what type of active inspire I want primary or studio then it crashes after that point ! any other suggestions ?
