Hi All!
I've set ActivInspire 1.5.xxxx to deploy through a GPO, but there's an update to 1.6.xxxx
I've got the MSI from the update downloaded through ActivInspire on one of the clients and tried to deploy that in a new GPO and as an update in the original GPO without any success...
I've tried downloading the complete new 1.6 package, but the download fails constantly, so have been unable to try this.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

12th December 2011, 05:24 PM #2 Hi There,
As far as I know, there are no issues with the latest 1.6 full package or the latest patch, and both should be deployable as normal.
If the download of the 1.6 continues to fail, it might be worth trying to download it from somewhere else other than the school - just wondering if there is a file size limit in place on the firewall or something?
On the "Patch" update download, if you download it, and run it on the command line with the /a switch, you should then get the MSI file and folder components - so as long as these are all located in the same place, it should be deployable as normal.
Might be worth giving our support team a call if still struggling, but as I say, there are currently no known issues with the full 1.6 download or the latest 1.6 patch download.
Good luck!
