It penalises those who havent got much money to spend though! For example, a big school might be able to place 10 orders in a month and say 5 go to Millgate.
A small school might only be able to place 2 orders but Millgate gets them both.
So...the smaller school is being more 'loyal' to Millgate in that they are giving ALL their business to them. The larger school isn't, but would earn more points.
I know what you mean but because it's my promotion and i decide how many points goes on each order, i'll make sure it's as fair as possible. Otherwise, like you said, the smaller schools won't get a fair goQuote:

One thing Luke doesn't do is mess you about on price, he gives his best price first time (though I still try and get him down more haha).
We have also used Millgate for our last couple of installs of projectors, digital signage and cabling and been very happy with the price, quality of workmanship and the guys who come to site.
We moved from mainly using Misco to Millgate actually by chance but have been really happy we did.
At the very least people can get quotes from Luke and see for themselves how the prices compare :)

I'm not sure how I missed this thread! You (Luke) mentioned this idea a little while ago whilst we were negotiating about a QNAP NAS. As you know, I have asked about some more kit recently.

It's taken a while to put into action. I wanted to see what feedback was like and I needed to have meetings with the directors but I got thumbs up from everyone so here it is. Started from Monday mate so your new kit will count :)
Another idea! (Not mine i admit, but one of my clients)
For all my existing clients, if you recommend me to another school or business, YOU get points as well as the new school or company. Again, the amount of points depends on what they order but coupled with everything else, it makes getting points easier.

Well, it's been going for a while so time for a bit of an update!
There's been plenty of interest in this so it looks like it's helping schools :)
Given away hundreds of points so far, most have decided to "bank" the points and save up but some schools have got new printers, screens etc etc.
Let me know if there's anything i can do. Remember there are also points for recommendations :)
