Worked in production in Purbrook with Jim, Gene, and Craig at one point but left shortly before Production relocated to Havant.

    No it's not Alex!

I used to assemble PCs, Bundles, Shuttles, and Leviathan DVRs right next to Craig under the careful supervision of Jimbo at the time.

Maybe you don't remember me! LMAO!

It was a long time ago and so many staff came and went, especially after we moved to Havant! Did you do production only or were you on technical support or worked in the shop??

    In production only.

From what I remember I didn't really have many dealings with you as you were upstairs and I was downstairs.

I'm sure Pete remembers me though if he casts his mind back to late 2003-mid 2004.

Basically i'm doing ok. I had been working at a public school in Portsmouth as an ICT Technician for the past 7ish months (that's how I know about this forum) but moved on from that owing to a dispute I had with higher management and as it wasnt really the right kind of job for me I got bored with it quite quickly.

I basically still live in Pompey with my girlfriend and i'm off on a two week break to Mauritius the start of February. I will be teaming up with some techie friends of mine and forging an my own Internet Development company specialising in database driven sites and e-commerce when I get back.

Put Linux on em, I don't suppose upgrading(downgrading ?) from Linux would be covered as a competive upgrade ? Didn't microsoft do something weird like that back in the day ?

It must be possible to supply machines with either no software or no-cost software. http://www.overclockers.co.uk do it, although they're not really the education supplier type.

We can supply the PCs without Windows. We would just put on a no-cost operating system. We advertise most of our PCs without Windows so the customer has the choice of which version of Windows to go for on every PC.
