    Am im I right in thinking that their throw distance is adjustable from 0 to infinity (maybe not quite as big but sufficent to cope with classroom old projector mouting distances (Epsons, Toshibas, Saharas (yes - still got one trunding along!,NECs) ?

    I've not mounted mine yet - but there recommended distances look about the same as our old ones: XJ-A145 - CASIO Projectors

    although I'm not sure they'd cope with a short throw

    I think you may be right according to here) an Epson XB7 (current mod from my normal supplier) will do 60in diag at 1.97m (and can go closer) but the smallest distance a Casio can be put for same is 2.23m.

    Looks like they are more designed as hall/mobile projector replacements

    I'll start a sep thread to see what people have found out so far.

    I can get them quicker than next day My mate has 2 sitting in his unit and I can go with a PO in hand and collect them, net time to me about 30 minutes
