Hi There,
I need a quote from someone who can supply me with a mobile phone for our headteacher.
It needs to be an iPhone or Blackberry or Palm etc...
Basically something he can check email on the go with.
I'm at my wits end with this one, as no one I approach wants to sell us one, and the networks websites are useless as they all want credit card or bank details. Who knew it was so difficult to spend money!
Help please.
Thanks.
I will PM details on request.
Have you checked with the LEA, or local council? Most have agreements with one or more providers.

Yeah I checked with the LEA, they couldn't help me...
Thanks anyway.
Our head has an iPhone in order to get his e mails on the go from Exchange. He's a total techno phobe (useless at anything related to ICT), and he loves it.
O2 had no bother allowing us to pay via invoice![]()

We have some blackberrys and they are useless without the blackberry exchange software. I get my emails on my HTC Touch HD with the LEA setup which is outlook anywhere / OWA. The blackberrys are still having issues connecting to that.
I get my main calendar and emails pushed straight to my device.

I had good results with O2's business shop before, they were quite happy to invoice monthly.

blackberry's are fine as long as you have a BES, for one user probably overkill though.
anything running windows mobile or an iPhone is the way to go.
As for providers try Arrow Telecom - they're o2/vodafone suppliers but business centric so are used to dealing with invoices, etc

Thanks to everyone for your advice.
I have a blackberry and i wouldnt reccomend it just because of connecting it to exchange, with the iphone you just follow a few steps but on the blackberry you have to have enterprise manager installed on the exchange server and that is a pain to configure also it can cost too.

We get all our mobiles (we have a large site so all site staff and ICT support staff have them) from these guys The Communications Centre:: The Business Mobile Communications BlackBerry and Windows Mobile Specialists
