Default Netbook Trolley

Hello!!

After some quotes for a netbook trolley, capable of holding a minimum of 15 Netbooks. (Unsure on Models yet, possibly Toshiba NB200s).

We're after 3 of these for one of my schools, going to be housed all over the shop.

Using original power supplies.

If anyone can send me a quote or point me in the right direction, that'd be lovely.

Thank you!

Jamie.

Don't get the ones where you put 2 netbooks into the space of 1 laptop.

I got one recently that was supposed to hold 20 netbooks and it had about 7 small small holders for the psus - I'm not impressed

3 psu's generate a lot of heat

Trying to think of a method of holding them onto the back door instead.

Also, its very awkward to get the laptops in and out and to plug them in

regards

Simon

That looks better than the one I got which has 20 vertical slots and you have to have one at front and one at the back of the slot.

Make sure it has got some sort of power controler on it we were supplied with one in the summer that didn't every time we plug it in it trips the electrics!!! This was a big well known company who supplied it as well!! Also watch out for the lap cabby's the back door opens when you open the front so you have to watch that its shut properly other wise it can get left unlocked

For a left field suggestion, how about an M-Pod?

They're like a large suitcase with integrated power supplies and even a gas strut to hold the lid open

I got mine from CPLtd and they're fab (the M-Pods and CPLtd). Thread here: Netbook storage and charging

That looks pretty awesome.

Some of my schools are looking into moveable class sets of Netbooks next year, one of those looks idea. Looks pricey though

We were planning a launch involving putting a piece of dry ice in one before the teacher opened it for the first time but it didn't happen - we'd imaged the netbooks before the dry ice arrived and the teachers were chomping at the bit for them so we just released them

Wary of sounding like spam, but would just like to say that we are developing a prototype case which we aim to have ready early next year. Intended price will be half the price of the mpod.
