I got a load of plastic slotted trunking from CPC for this job and its great its slotted every 3cm or so and its great just put them in and stick the lid on and voilla. Its in the trunking section of the CPC book.

I used PVC guttering from Screwfix. Just ran the guttering underneath the worksurface, drilled 80mm holes, got the plastic hole insert things from CPC and a nice neat, cheap solution. Drilling the holes was hard work though.

Yup I've done that and used 100mm square trunking and done a similar thing and that also did the job

I found the baskets to be a waste of time. You but the cables all neat and tidy after a week or so they are all over the show with none in the basket.

Also seen the guttering in work and that works a treat.

Seems to, as most things in life the more simple it is the most affective.

Depends you can get very deep U shaped so it does work, but I've used square in the past and used a hole saw to cut bits out of the top where it meets the holes in desks to let wires in and out and done the same behind where the PCs stand underneath etc. It depends on how your room is layed out though.
