I have a few Ricoh printers run under the YPO pay per print system - I've not heard of this 'click' system though. Does the 'click box' automatically notify Ricoh of the print volumes of each printer, or do they still send you an email asking for the information?

Ok - send me an email and I'll get a quote over to you. If anyone else wants pricing on the range, please get in touch

Click has only been out for around 2 months now. I'd imagine you'll have to give Ricoh the information on the number of pages printed but I'll wait to hear back from Ricoh before giving you the official answer

    Cheers

If its just for a couple of printers, you put your meter readins in to your portal when ordering new toners etc. If this doesnt get done then Ricoh will send an email at the end of the quarter asking for your meter readings. If its a large rollout of Ricoh printers across the school then this may be different

    I hope this helps

Quick question - is anyone using this scheme and/or Ricoh printers? If so how are you finding it?

We're going to move to some form of managed print system this summer and implement print quotas at the same time (just got given the go ahead!) and I'm trying to work out the best solution for us

We've done the Ricoh thing - the smaller printers are OK - but the large photocopier jobs can be a bit of a 'mare to set up - I'd advise costing in some Ricoh time for them to come and show you all the settings - as we found the documentation somewhat "lacking" - though on the plus side - it does look like its going to be quite a bit cheaper.

We've had a cracking response to this including some nice confirmed orders

Keep your enquiries coming in guys - I now know a whole lot more than I did about this scheme since my original post thats for sure!

    Many thanks

Cheers for your help with getting this sorted for us Dan - hopeful that we'll be able to put an end to our massive printing costs with this scheme and some papercut quotas!

thanks for the assistance Dan - spoke to Ricoh and it seems to have potential for us - we'll no doubt be in touch soon to get quotes for the various printers we might need.
