Hmmm. £368 vs £135 for a 'throw in the bag' travel laptop. I know which one I'm buying!

    Me please!

If I were into conspiracy theories, I'd suggest that this is deliberately placed in the week that many people will get paid but I'm not a conspiracist (?) so I won't :-)

Yes, I'd be interested in one of those for myself, although like everyone else I'll need to know if that £135 is including VAT, shipping, and VAT on shipping (sorry, used to dealing with Dell...).

Also, as regards this other thread about SIM cards: can we get a machine capable of using a pay-as-you-go SIM card internally to connect to a mobile broadband service, or do we have to use a USB dongle. If we have to use a USB dongle, which ones work with Linux on this laptop?

    Now £159.99 inc.VAT £139.12 ex.VAT

Thats the price on the edugeek acer outlet, so i gather we have it at a reduced price £135.00 Excl VAT so with VAT it works out to £155.25 which is still a fantastic price!

Ignore the price on the Outlet site. We haven't updated it yet, as they have not arrived (in a container on a ship etc). We are just getting a feeling as to how this offer would go down.
