We're looking for a 22" PC monitor (vga connectivity) that has a hard glass screen and can be wall mounted (to be fitted on a corridor). We'll also be needing the actual wall mount as well; any with extra security, like a lock, would be preferable, but if that can't be sourced, then a standard would have to suffice.
The budget isn't particularly big (roughly £200 for the lot). There may be some slack on the size (21"?) if the cost is more than quoted. Alternatively, post the best price anyway and we can submit that.

3rd March 2009, 07:42 PM #6 Whilst you're looking Simon, could you recommend or search out some means of locking/protecting the screen from "vanishing in to thin air".. The area where we plan to place it is covered by CCTV and in an area which is reasonably well supervised, however we think it best maybe to seek out feasibility of this whilst we're at it.
Just of curiosity, how much more is the 24" screen? Size is only a limitation where funding is concerned, so if we're looking at no more than say 15% extra cost, then it may be worth pursuing that. I know that they'll want the biggest possible (within budget)! As long as the whole lot comes below £200 (or thereabout) then we're ok.
Is the 24" screen going to be a similar sort of lead time (1 month is quite some time away)? Is there no way to source elsewhere if other suppliers have stock (even if it costs a little more)?

5th March 2009, 06:20 PM #11 Thanks Simon. Did you get anywhere on the bracket? If it all comes to around £200 (including cables) then we can go for the bigger screen, however at £175 we may be pushing it. Wont know though until we get prices for all items!
Cheers!
