11th February 2009, 12:32 PM #6 On top of the normal spec is a 250Gb HDD which has to be worth a little extra and a 17" TFT.

11th February 2009, 02:38 PM #7 Link to the server:
Acer Altos G330 Mk2 Server - TT.G3BE0.011 - ALTOS Servers and Networking - Acer Outlet
Please note this price is without a monitor or 250Gb HDD.
However that price is for the general public and EduGeek members should never pay that much! Hint Hint!!

11th February 2009, 02:42 PM #8 I have to say that's not a bad price for a Xeon based 'blank' server. Another £100-£150 on parts from elsewhere would spec that up very nicely indeed.

11th February 2009, 11:08 PM #9 Can Edugeek members make use of the outlet for Personal Purchases as well like some of the other forum sponsors have said in the past? May be needing a server for a personal project and that could be suitable and at a haggling style price it would be a good buy

11th February 2009, 11:12 PM #10 Maybe a bit off topic, but could you PM me with some possible 'deals' on 1U Rackmount Servers, ideally sub 0.5 amps.
Many Thanks!

16th February 2009, 12:17 PM #13 FIXED PRICE
I will do the above server with the 250Gb Hard Drive for £250 Ex VAT or with TFT £280 or with TFT and SBS 2003 £399.
