Whoops - the £205 ex VAT price is in fact for 20+ units, not 30. My bad!

Are these Win8 or Win8.1? Pro?
We're looking at tablets to get in but we've not had much room to play so we're not sure about how upgrading to 8.1 works. Does each device still have to download and install the update individually?

They are Windows 8 but can be upgraded to 8.1 and no, not pro. If you would like to avoid having to do that, we would happy to do it for you so they arrive with 8.1.

Domain connectivity is a must, unfortunately.

Some schools have discussed upgrading them to Windows 8 Pro under their schools licence agreement which should then allow them to connect to a domain. Just working on getting definite confirmation on this for you.

    Hi guys,

These tablets are eligible for upgrade to 8.1 Pro under an EES agreement. We haven't physically done this ourselves yet.

Unfortunately, we are no longer selling these bundled with a keyboard or case!

    Thanks,

    Sam

    Hi everyone,

Just to let you know that we have now successfully upgraded one of these to Windows 8 Pro ourselves (grew tired of waiting for a definitive answer from Samsung) so you can absolutely definitely do this under your EES agreements. Seen it in action with mine own eyes!

    Thanks,

    Sam

Any other Windows based tablets you can recommend. With a keyboard and lowish price. As a companion device, so not replacing laptops. I've seen an Ergo tablet with keyboard, just not had a price to go with it. Prefer something like these for management in schools rather than an iPad :-)
    Cheers
