I always think of them as Queen supermakeup Amidala and slave Padm.

And I'm on my phone... I just hold "e" and I can use accented characters.

No, it's [Title]Queen [Forename]Padme [Last name]Amidala. The whole Padme the 'handmaiden' (definitely not a slave, that was Anakin and his mum) thing was just to throw people off the scent. Obviously it worked!

The wonders of modern technology. Something you can do on a phone that you can't as easily do on a proper computer!

    Windows+R > charmap > [find the letter] > copy/paste

Takes a bit longer but do-able... and I'd rather that than sit here poking my screen!

    Like dis:

Hold ALT key and type 0233 = (◄ see, I just did it then!)

The solid left arrow above is alt+17

Download a useful reference sheet for all the codes here:

    http://usefulshortcuts.com/downloads/ALT-Codes.pdf

Once you start using these you will never look back (and end up getting run over, so sorry in advance for that).

I'd forgotten all about ALT codes! Reminds me of the Windows 98 "desktop icons with no label" trick (you basically used a non-ANSI code to create a blank character as the label)

Fine... you can be Ben Kenobi.

In my fantasy Star Wars [Star prize Draws: Revenge of the Stig] Liam can now be Princess Leiam.

    Sorry, Liam Senpai...

Wow - never knew that - great shortcut!

I immediately searched for a reference hoping for dozens of Alt Gr shortcuts, but the UK keyboard only affords a handful:

AltGr key - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Still, very useful for if you ever need them.

    Cheers @CAM
