We've been using @sparkeh's time machine to film today's episode in the future and send it back to today, but our aim might be a bit off, there are some weird things going on...

We're attempting to synch it with present day youTube right now.

    Al

EDIT - as today's video was filmed tomorrow, I don't know what happened, so I'm looking forward to it as much as everyone else.

Argh no we now have more divergences in reality! Its no longer good vs evil... we need a more complex alignment system

I think we managed to align the sequential-chrono-blaggotron correctly, but the results are a bit spotty - judge for yourselves, and find out who wins today's prize too:

REMEMBER, entries are still being taken. If you're in the UK and work in IT support, PM me your professional details to be included, OR, if you have entered a VeryPC competition before, all you need to do is post in the thread that you'd like to join in and we'll look up your details from before and add you. Either way is good.

    Good luck for tomorrow everyone!

    Al

I vote the next video should be recorded in Sheffieldish, there will probably only be 2 or 3 of us that will understand...but its a "made in sheffield" thing

We have a little pile of as yet unscissored MADvent decorations waiting to be prepared for the tree, but this December refuses to calm down and go quiet enough for us to get around to it. Don't worry, I'll make sure they're up tomorrow.

Did you ever hear the Radio 4 documentary 'The 'arse that Jack built'?

Ian McMillan goes on a quest to find one of Britain's strangest linguistic features. Somewhere between Sheffield and Chesterfield, people stop saying house and say something that sounds a lot more like 'arse. It's an isogloss, a kind of linguistic boundary line where accent and dialect changes. Ian calls it the house / arse interface, and with his friend the musician Ray Hearne and linguist Kate Burland in tow, he sets out to track it down. But can it really be as simple as crossing a line on a map?
Genius. Still available to listen online.
