As a wise old jedi once said:

'Try not! Win, or win not. There is no try.'

Did you know that the first VeryPC draw was designed to be a perfect human competition? Where none suffered, where everyone would win. It was a disaster. No one would accept the prizes. Entire warehouses of prizes were lost. Some believed we lacked the shoutiness and wavyhandidness to describe your perfect competition. But I believe that, as a species, human beings define their competition through silly memes and nonsensical posts. The perfect competition was a dream that your primitive cerebrum kept trying to lose. Which is why the VeryPC competition was redesigned to this: the peak of your competitions: Madvent 2013.

Aaaand that's the last mangled Matrix quote I will post. Today.

    No, there's NO TIME!

    We've run out of time.

We have to figure out how to get more time!

We could attempt a time transplant... but, we'd need to call a specialist. A Doctor of some sorts...

No no, if I put together the time machine then I can go back in time to do some timey doodah to make sure that I have enough time to make the time machine to go back. Its Temporal Engineering 101.

Nearly done with the time machine, but do I connect the Cronomatic Specualtatron to the Temporal Flux Pump or to this flippy flappy lever?

Uh-oh! Impending divergence in the space-time continuum.

Hi everyone. So yeah I got it wrong and time is unraveling causing the existence of two distinct realities. One much like our old one and one where dinosaurs still walk the Earth.

Its ok because I think I managed to keep us all in our reality.

Oh, no! @sparkeh has been eaten by a dinosaur of his own temporal creation.

    Can I have his sweeties?

Hi I'm alternative reality sparkeh (I have a gotee beard and everything) and I lay claim to normal sparkeh's sweeties. Don't stand in my way, you know alternative reality versions of people are evil and good at fighting.

You're... you're... alive! But how did you... I mean... you belong...

I hereby relinquish all claim to the sweeties that are rightfully yours and submit to your interdimensionary supremity.

Perhaps it was the sweeties that saved your hide, in a kind of Barrow-in-Furness bus depot kind of way?

(Are you with me, or am I just showing my age again?)
