Pay attention. These 2 nuggets of info will be of some interest to you all. No slouching!
- There will be no draw on Monday 26th August due to the bank holiday. We'll be doing a double draw on Tuesday 27th to catch up.
- ALSO: because tomorrow is the school field trip day with Doc Brown, entries tendered this evening and tomorrow morning will not be in tomorrow's draw, but added to the banana bucket for the double draw on Tuesday
That is all - back to your skiving.
Just to let you know that today's draw will very probably be posted somewhat later than usual today due to the challenges of operating in the (a) field.
Please be patient, I'll be working on it.
When you said later I wasn't expecting 5+ hours...
Where is this field? The moon?
Have a random video! (Warning contains ponies)

Later never came...
Sorry for the video-less Friday and weekend. It turns out the field in North Yorkshire playing host to our school trip/recycling voluntary work was not as well served with internet access as expected. We filmed and chose a winner on schedule, but getting it to your eyes proved to be a challenge insurmountable until we returned to civilisation. Watch on to find out Friday's winner:
Congrats winner - please choose a number from the remaining selection shown below:
Remember today is a Double Draw Tuesday, so as well as the winner just revealed in this post, there will be a further 2 draws in the next video (posted between 11am and 12noon today). Still some good little prizes and the lovely Nano Sketch PC star prize to be won.
See you later,
Nooooo! I was like a mm out, gutted.

So attentive listeners of the studious learning variety. A double draw today to catch up on the bank holiday yesterday. Who will the lucky 2 winners be?
Congratulations to both of you - please choose your numbers from those remaining in the pic below and we'll reveal which prizes you have won. @SirToby also needs to pick his prize from the draw posted earlier this morning, so if 2 or more of you choose the same number, we'll accept your choices in the order that they are posted in this thread and ask anyone choosing a duplicate to pick again. Sound fair enough?
Only 3 days left now, but still time to enter and win one of the last remaining prizes, including the star prize, a beautifully compact and cool looking VeryPC Nano Sketch (i3 CPU, 4GB RAM, 120GB SSD, Win 7 or 8 home) with your own design etched on the side. The star prize will be drawn on Friday 30th August.
All you have to do to have a chance of winning is work as an IT tech/manager type in the UK and be registered on EduGeek (which I'm guessing you probably are if you're reading this). Just PM me your professional contact details and we'll add your name to the draw. Dead easy. Oh, and you'll get some free sweets just for entering in the first place, so everybody wins something at least.
I'll have 12 please to complete the line!
@plexer, you are now the proud owner of Star Trek Into Darkness on DVD (or you will be after it is released, we've pre-ordered it and you'll get it sometime after September 2nd).
@skell, your prize is the ace Pac-Man alarm clock. It's got cute buttons: cherries for snooze, a bell for alarm off and a ghost for the back light ("Pinky" to be exact).
@SirToby we're still waiting for your choice, so please pick a number from the four remaining below and we'll find out what you've won:
Still a handful of nice daily prizes left (including the GTAV/£40 of computer games) so it's not too late to enter. UK IT techs and managers PM me your professional contact details and we'll add you to the draw. We've currently got 58 entrants (which is not too bad for the summer hols on EduGeek) plus 7 bonus tickets earned for the school naming suggestions, so a minimum of 1 in 65 chance of winning the star prize at this stage. Gotta be worth a crack at those odds, and you get free sweets thrown in just because we're a right nice bunch of folks at VeryPC.
