I'm not sure if I have good luck or bad luck...
Bad luck:
The box I wanted, number 13, was picked [It's got part of my name written all over it.]... AND it had what I wanted in it.
When I did get have my name drawn, I got the booby prize.
Good luck:
I mentioned I wanted the card reader, then Al did a pop quiz [May or may not be related] and I managed to get one, while retaining my ability to win again later.
I got a booby prize, but my name was put back in so I can potentially win again.
Either the universe is doing a lot of little "f- you"s which will culminate in a big "f- you" later... Or the universe is trying to help me out.

5th October 2012, 04:01 PM #228 Well considering my run of bad luck recently, getting a graphics card worth £200 which I can sell, is a bonus! Universe is out to help!

Could be... after all, I managed to transfer my bad back to someone else.
Then again... I'm back on the warcrack.
The universe giveth and the universe taketh away.

Tell me, honestly, how many man-hours went into setting up that joke?

Setting it up? Honestly, none. Working towards it? Lots and lots. It just kinda evolved in a convenient direction as we went along.
The point you need to take away though, is that there is a space here, and you should be watching it.

Oh and I'm sure some Haribo must have fallen out of my box, it arrived open
Did no-one request any Crumbs of Despair?
