@alonebfg: hmmmmm.... CL500 - yes please! Need to save some pennies me thinks :(
I have to put a deposit down but i still have some money in my beer fund as i have been off the drink due to drugs (dont get the wrong idea perscribed morphine is leagel) so im going to keep putting my beer money away and get a merc in 3 years lol
you fool, SELL the morphine to make more money for cars, booze and loose women
lol @ midget.
Im a technician and i cant really afford to run a car, ive spent about £500 in parts for my mini in just under a year!
So far ive replaced:
front Pads
Front subframe (hit some oil, hit a curb)
Track Rod Ends
Fuel pump
Plugs
bottom Ball Joints
Suspension arm
1 wing mirror (it fell off at 70mph)
fuel breather
X2 unsealed headlights
X2 back brake cylnders
Back Shoes
Rear Fog lamp
1 Alloy wheel
x3 yoko a539s
just off the top of my head.
Its all fun though :D

Anyone else want to add pictures of their cars?
Has anyone got any classic/sports cars?
Damn right!!!! My mate built one of those a while back. He was going to go for 2 bike engines but decided he'd probably kill himself and stuck to a sensible v6 :DQuote:

Nice mini btw wil0!
But you think you've got it bad, i just spent over £500 just on my coilovers! lol
(Feck it, thats what the plastics there for lol)
thanks, nice mr2! is it the turbo?!
hehe, two bike engines would be insane! id like to put a duratec V6 in a westfield with a turbo :D like a noble :D
what coilovers did you get? Avos?
Would look nicer with a ferarri bodykit ;)
nice to see i am not the only techy thats in to car modding
i got a toyota celica SR
on 17inch alloys and 40 mm lowered and all the engine done and a groovy dvd playing to watch in traffic jams lol
cool, pictures?
do those 17" wheels rub on the arches, or have you got spacers/low profile tyres?
Every time i think about fast cars, i think about getting an old mini clubman and putting a 16V honda vtec in it, 180bhp as standard, 240+ with a turbo :D...
might sell my car at when im at uni...
Currently driving a GT4 but have had a range of cars in the past, Turbo'd JDM Integra, Accord Type R, Focus 1.8, Mondeo 1.6, Fiesta 1.6/1.1, Astra 1.4... erm think that covers most of them and the worst by a mile was the Astra.
PICS ARE HERE............
Being from the Antipodes, I *really* miss my old Holden Commodore.
The closest thing here is the new Vauxhall VXR8. But at £35k it will be a long time before I get one...

Probably have to wait till im closer to 25.
Coilovers are a relatively unknown make called K-Sport (D1 in the US iirc), but their reputation is growing fast which can only be a good thing!
Should get them on soon, only been 5weeks since they arrived
Damn weather, rained everyday for 5weeks barring the last couple of days. Typical as im off to york this weekend so wont be fitting them then either :(
kearton> monaro? you can get an LS1 powered CV8 one for £15k now. I'm holding out for a VRX though as they have the better brakes already fitted (worth £2k) and a better nose. £500 on a quickshift and you're ready to roll.
Needs no introduction
