My wife who is a HUGE Grandaddy fan found out last night that they are to be doing a few dates in the UK in August/September, so I managed to get tickets for the Manchester Ritz gig this morning
I'm not sure if it's a full reunion i.e. they will be working on new material, but if you like really good indie rock then I really suggest you give them a try.

The full tour dates are as follows:

08-10 San Francisco, CA: Outside Lands
08-25 Pully, Switzerland: For Noise Festival
08-26 Paris, France: Rock En Seine
08-29 Manchester, England: Ritz
08-30 Glasgow, Scotland: ABC
09-02 Salisbury, England: End of the Road Festival
09-04 London, England: Shepherd’s Bush Empire

I know that they were very popular in the UK (they are a US band) but find it strange that they are not doing more US dates; although just reading a recent interview with frontman Jason Lytle he does say that many record companies have no money to spend on promotion etc since the credit crunch/bank bailouts.
