My wife's been complaining about her mini cassette hand held dictation recorder only holding about 30 mins per side. I reckon there must be an mp3 variety on the market for office use, but it needs to have some sort of function for her secretary to stop/start/rewind while she's typing. Has anyone come across anything like this? I've seen some nice sony models online.

Several of the iRiver personal MP3 players have recording functionality that you can use in a 'Dictaphone' mode.
I personally have an i320, I don't think it's still in production though.

Olympus and several other dictaphone makers produce electronic versions that link to a pc to transfer audio and hold a lot more than tape versions.
