    New shape.

335d is very nice car. obviously less hp but loads more torque.. test drove loads if you do the miles but still want a fast car that is definitly for you. p.s. 335i is also an incredibly bit of kit. in acceleration can easily keep up with me.

Ooooh, they're bonkers, them. Drove a few when I worked for a Honda garage. Much fun to be had once you get it up to 6000rpm at which point it goes balistic.

Thats the thing, I cant choose!!

Both have a healthy stock bhp/nm and both get nice increases from tuning. I currently get on average 19mpg in my Audi to and from work and want to see a better return in my next car but still have that wow factor!

Spose a hard day test driving both is in order hehe

Whilst not as fast or sporty as the ones you mention, my 320D Touring is an amazing drive. I just cannot drive it enough.

Although saying that the tyres are expensive even with blackcircles.co.uk

Am also in the process of moving my wife over from a Mini One Convertible to a 1 Series diesel.

My Honds Civic has started to p**s petrol over the floor, I am just trying to figure out how to lift it up and rub its nose in it whilst crying over how much money is evaporating on the floor.

My little baby is a Vectra SRI called Vikki, she goes very well, even the police officer said he had to toe it to keep up with me on the motorway at 1 in the morning. Perhaps 140mph was a tad fast.

I thought they did as well, as long as they can prove it was you driving. Bit hard to enforce when you get caught by a camera as driving at 140mph+ in modern sports cars implies you have some money, therefore the lawyers come out and argue you weren't drive and to prove it.

I always wondered how that worked for a defence, if you weren't driving who was? Was it borrowed? Was it stolen, who was it borrowed to, when and where was it stolen, how was it recovered, did you report it, and the likes, defiantly a loop hole there somewhere.

Same as speed camera's, if you caught doing say 36 in a 30 for example, just argue the case, and ask for all the recent calibration data and the specifics the camera is calibrated too. Obviously doing 45 in a 30 isn't going to help, the close to 33 you are or Speed Limit +10% the more likely to get off.

Speed cameras have to be calibrated every two weeks, and I can certainly assure you through inside information, that this is very rare, more like every two months+

I was once in a car stopped for speeding, and the driver was asked by the police officer, "having trouble taking off there Wing Commander?"

Copper had a sense of humour luckily, and as it was on a well lit dual carriageway in the wee hours, the driver was cautioned.

Funny thing is, the driver is now a Driving Instructor!

Yes, anything on the motorway above 98.7mph is a ban but he was more impressed i got a Vectra to that speed and he had admitted that i was driving perfectly safe and that there was no other vehicles on the motorway he let me off with a tell off.

I was very lucky and now dont ever speed!
