I think veggie oil has gone up to over a quid a litre now

Looks like a mate of mine's managed to bend his MK2 Golf, if anyone happens to have any front end bits (preferably in maroon) in the West Mids/North West England/North Wales area could they PM/email me?
It's a long shot but I might as well start here

Have you/he tried Edition38, Club Gti, or any local VW forums? Usually all an aladdin's cave of spare parts!

Thanks for the heads up, I'll pass it on
On another note, WTF can't I find my balljoint seperator? Looks like I'll have to get another one, requiring another 20-mile drive to the motor factors...

My best was a 12.8 @ 110. It was my first time at the strip though so hope to improve next time!

Not too bad at all, I've never taken a car up the strip myself, I'd probably burn the clutch out

21st May 2008, 11:30 AM #194 I must admit i have had a varied and shocking car history. Before I came to work in the education IT environment, I wokred for a local garage who were a Jaguar, Land Rover, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Citroen fanchised dealer.
Being a car nut, this was a dangerous place to work. I was well placed to buy cheap cars and so I did
.
In 4 1/2 years I owned the following:
95 M Reg Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Merit 3Dr
00 W Reg vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Breeze 5Dr
00 X Reg Seat Leon 1.9 TDi SE
03 03 Discovery Td5 GS 7 Seat
04 04 Jaguar X-Type 2.0D SE Saloon
05 05 Mazda RX-8 230 Coupe - An awesome car. Shame a bout the fuel consumption!!!!!
I'm currently running a 57 Reg VW Golf GT Sport 2.0TDi DSG 5Dr and last month I picked up a Rover 420 TD as a runner (A bargain for £500) to save the miles on the Golf.
I always wanted a Jag S-Type R 4.3 V8 & 400BHP. The best fun ever
Sadly I could never find one that I could aford
