I saw Elton John at the Liberty Stadium in Swansea a few years back but was not impressed with his live show. At the time I remember enjoying but it was the middle of summer so was very light. I like night concerts outside where the stage lighting can set atmosphere.
Pink at the Liberty Stadium was also very good.
Bands I wish I'd seen (or was old enough to see) - Queen and The Beatles. My parents saw The Beatles before they became the Beatles back in Rawtenstall Astoria many years ago.

It's amazing what you forget. Tne wife jyst reminded me of Beyonce in Brimingham. Not cool perhaps but excellent show and knocked spots off Madonna. We parked behind the venue where all the tour buses were during the afternoon and she was practising. Amazing show.

If Elton does another Pianoman Tour with Billy Joel then I'll sell a kidney for tickets...

Hes playing some strange places next year - including the Northampton Cricket ground - just a couple of streets away from my house - have to sit out in the garden that afternoon!

I went with Jane to See Lemon Jelly on their Lost Horizons tour in Edinburgh in 2002. It was a brilliant gig. Not just because of the music, but because we were all given Lemon Jelly 'lucky bags' and played Lemon Jelly bingo before the gig started. It generated an amazing fun and friendly atmosphere even before the music started.

It's great when bands do stuff like that. I saw Danananakroid at 2000 trees in 2009. They had the crowd playing a version of British bulldogs that involved lots of hugging.
