Wow ... the best of luck with it. It is a great honour to allow to be tested as a master. If nothing else, congrats are well deserved for that alone.

Many thanks tony. In a few months / years time, I may even start something that combines my skill set from all of my martial arts, something that is really practical on the streets for defending yourself![]()

oh, and I am happy to hold sessions for any geekers!![]()
I just need to find out how to register my style with the british sports council and get proper recognition...

Geek style - awesome. It could be like the karate kid style training, where pushing your glasses back up your nose is and elbow to the face, and rummaging in a ruck sack is blocking kicks to the groin, sliding finger on ipad/touch etc is a chop, and multi-touch zoom in is throwing a ninja star  hehe.
seriously though, there's no reason why you couldn't do a session at the next conference is there? If not as part of the day, as something fun in the aftermath. I'd be up for it if i ever make it to one.

Well if I could make it, I would be happy too, insurance would be a bit tough as even though I am registered, I am only registered to train members of the same organisations.
If you didnt mind the possibility of getting hurt, and me not accepting liability then its all good. lol

I find out tomorrow if I passed or not...wish me luck!!

GOOD LUCK with the 'Geek stylenephilim-san
Best of luck(although you might know by now?!?)

forgot to update this...I got it!I assumed I had back when I was 3rd dan and got put forward (My master started calling me master at 3rd dan which is basically a huge compliment in that respect).
Now get 4 gold stripes on my belt!!Also I am allowed to order my own custom belt if I choose too so I might just do that!
5 years time it will be 5th dan, wish me luck! Although now I have to retire as 3 time undefeated super heavy weight world champion (a reign that lasted me 6 years!) and 8 time UK super heavy weight undefeated National champion (Lasted 8 years).
On the plus side I now get to host seminars and if I can find somewhere to do it, have my own training hall!
If anyone is up for learning some basics on Friday night, if we can find somewhere suitable then I am happy to do some basics for all.

how about down the pub?![]()

Works for me Vik.
Congrats, that is a seriously impressive achievement![]()
