Def Lepard has been confirmed now I think. Lots of old school rocking going on. I'd love to go but finances are tight at the mo with house renovations going on and holiday just booked. Bah.

I'll be there
went in 2007, when MCR got bottled off, reenactment of Lord of the Rings fights, but with bottles, Korn filled out the Dimebag stage... and the whole outside of it. Goood time. Can't wait. Which reminds me, time to book the time off.

yeah they do suck compared to some of the wacken etc however i failed not to have a good time at any of the ones i have attended so far and with the group of people im going with expanding all the time can only see it getting better over next year.
last year the worst band on the bill was pendulum the sucked hard so wont be seeing them this year

Went in 2006, and didn't enjoy it too much. Was far too hot.
If it had been cooler, and idiots hadn't spent the entire time lobbing bottles at each other, I would have enjoyed it I think.

this year will be second time to download, last year being first and it was immense. though the layout last year was awful and it was a 40 Min trek to the bands hopefully they will put it back on the track this year.

It's always been like that, and I think there's not really alot you can do to prevent it. Except getting there 30284 days before the festival?

@localzuk: TO HOT?! it's not hot enough! can't get enough of the sun, the only problem is your beer gets warmer quicker. Cool box this year ftw!

my mate had a double air bed that sweat due to the heat but this ment it kept beer really cold was as he didn't appreciate us all wondering in and out of his tent and every hour of day getting out beer,
the trek wasn't long because of amount of people they had moved the arena due to race being on the week following so had to walk the length of track to get to arena, which my mates who had been year before said was far worse.

We are off to sonisphere instead, downloads line up gets worse every year. not been since 2006. leeds had best line up last year and sonisphere has 'tallica!

If NineInchNails are making an appearance I'll be there... otherwise, nope.

NIN were at leeds in 07 that was fun and R.A.T.M were good at Leeds last year but download 08 still topped both for general awesomeness,
already got Leeds and download tickets for this year so will see which i prefer this time round.

Leeds last year, like when Slipknot were cancelled and (supposedly) Rage's sound quality was awful.

Tallica are rumored (again) so that should be interesting. Lamb of God are self confirmed but not confirmed by Kerrang. That will be MENTAL!
I want to see Machine Head there again this year. A Day to Remember, Rise Against and Reel Big Fish are currently touring so they might make an appearance.
