    AFAIR, the Amiga formats single sided 880k. You can use DSHD disks but it will only format/use one side. I'm sure I did this loads on my A600/A1200 back in the day.

    Also remember sellotaping over the right protect hole to re-use unwanted cover mount disks

    Oh yes! Did this Also remember my dad (I was too young, aww bless) snipping out a notch in the old 5 1/4 inch C64 disks to make them double sided

    I used to have a couple of 5 1/4" disks to use with the schools BBC Micro's when I was about 8 or 9. Or better still (from my High School days)...

    You had to eject the disk and turn it over to read the other side!!!
