    Futurama axed...Again!

    BBC News - Futurama axed by Comedy Central two years after Emmy

    The last episode will be in September apparently. Until it gets resurrected (hopefully) once more.

    I don't know. It's better to get axed while it's still relatively worth watching than to go on for ever and fall into a sad decline like The Simpsons. The last season has kind of been showing signs of the latter.

    the simpsons ebbs and flows though you get some poor seasons then followed by good ones

    its a shame its gone again as its my favorite cartoon and has probably the best great to poor episode ratio as simpsons/family guy etc all have lots of bad episodes futurama dosent have many if any

    What is annoying is they replay the same things on sky for futurama, they should replay the entire thing from episode 1 and go from there.

    Loved Futurama Classic (S01-S04) but the newer ones had lost the spark somehow. I enjoyed watching them but found they were not as "rewatchable" as the originals. The "Straight to DVD" specials were rather good though!

    I've also heard rumours (from completely unreliable sources) that Fry is going to be killed off in the final Ep.
